    Causes for prop spining?

Ive been noticing that im having excessive prop spin on my Ultra in the begining of the rpm range. I cant realy holeshot the ski , it spins for till about 3-4k and then goes . Is somthing up with my pump?

What you are experiencing is CAVITATION or pump slipping caused by either sealant falling off, imperller/pump damage or wear.

i had the pump bearings and seals replaced about 2 months ago . My eye glass seal is also broken could that be it? Or could it be that my pump needs a blue print job?

    What is eye glass seal?

As for the pump, the impeller tip clearance needs to be checked (<0.02") if there is no obvious damage to it.

Its a peice of rubber that literly looks like a pair of glases that comes of when you take of the ride plate. Both of the round peices on mine are broken.

Does it spin only if you try to pull full throttle from idle, or does it spin when you gradaully apply the throttle too?

It sometimes spins when i gradually apply the throttle but its most noticeble when i pull full throttle from idle.

Higher the water pressure, more water will leak out between the impeller tip and the pump housing inside wall instead of giving you the thrust that you need to go forward. As I said, you need to check the impeller tip clearance as I'm showing below. Otherwise, you may be facing very expensive repair, $600+ just for the parts, due to cavitation burn - yes, the stainless parts do errode.

It is just a $5 feeler gauge set that you use for checking plug gaps.
