    Hello;
    Does or has anyone converted or used a vmax-4 snowmobile engine into a pwc application? If so, how? Details

    I thought they were based on the R1 engine. The original 4 stroke pwc engine is based on it as well.

    I'm not familiar with the R1, but the V-Max 4 cylinder was a two stroke water cooled four, with the PTO taken off of a output shaft driven from the center of the crank.

    It is not the one I was thinking of then. My bad. The R1 is a four stroke.
