question about the riva ecu MAINT flashes on start up.

Ive had the riva ecu on my 07 ski for a while now, all is running well however ive just noticed that when i plug my laynard key in MAINT flashes up on the screen for about 5 seconds, then it clears itself. Is there a problem? does anybody else have this with there riva ecu??

This is a normal feature of both the stock and Riva ECU. It is your maintenance reminder telling you to bring the ski in for your oil change.

The "Maint" reminder can only be cleared by the dealer using the BUDS software. It will only flash for the first five seconds then goes away.
