has your battery been disconnected or has it died lately? Your RXP could think it is a RXT. Seen this a couple of times where after a battery dies or is disconnected, an RXP will will default to an RXT. On the 04-06 RXP's you would see a depth finder option when scrolling through the modes. Not sure if an 07 will show that or not.
I remember when I was diagnosing this once I traced the wires back checking that the voltage was ok or at least there was power there. I do not recall what the voltage should be.
Anyhow if it is the first thing I mentioned, a dealer can fix this in five minutes by connecting to their BUDS. My dealer charged $10

My VTS has not worked sense I bought it new. My ski now has 12 hours on it. I took it back to the dealer and the VTS was turned on with the buds system but its still not working. Do you think the electric motor is burned up? How can I test it.

    Thanks

    Justin

they have to turn the vts off in buds
    disconect-then reconect and
then turn it back on in the buds-
like repairing a wirless conection you KNOW is there --turn it off -then back on--BAM

ok i took VTS cover off and there was water in it...

but besides that... there is 2 visible wires in the housing

    Blue/orange and Green/orange

both have power when key is in

So, either the motor is shot? or I need to have it hooked up to BUDS to try the disable/enable idea?
