Single Beep after Twin Engine Start on a S200

I upgraded from a Speedster 150 to a Speedster 200. Everytime I start the 2nd engine I get a single beep. The boat seems to run fine and there are no warning lights lit.

Any ideas if this is normal?

I've put a few more hours on the boat. The single long beep after the 2nd engine starts only happens 20-50% of the time. Below is a link to a video I made that shows the condition after I start the 2nd engine.

I thought that maybe the fuel sender in the fuel tank might be confused and is trying to tell me I have a low fuel condition. There are two sender units (one for each engine), so I connected to the 2nd sender unit and the condition still occurred.

At this point I don't know what to try next.

I have an 07 Utopia with twins on it and I get that same beep 100% of the time after starting the second engine. I think its normal. I assumed it was a warning to people in the water. Its annoying at the dock though, everyone always looks at you when it goes off.

I have the single engine C180 and mine makes the single beep about 20% of the time as well. It has never seemed to cause any adverse effect to the way she runs so I just ride more and worry less in this particular case.

I just upgraded also from a 150 to the 200, I have the beep sometimes too and I noticed its more when the fuel looks to be a little low ,because on the the trailer it sits a little unlevel and makes it read less fuel. They checked the computer when I did the 10 hour and said there where no codes so I 'm good . If you have not done so you should add the hour meter to keep track of time on the motors, its easy and goes right into the blank circle on our dash. Goodluck

I've been reading your posts before I bought my S200. Excellent Idea!
