Is it a truck? If you look at the end of the video, after impact, you can tell it is a police cruiser with lights on.

Well that explains why the deer looked blue when it exploded

Shame on you people, the thread title even says pay attention. Its a good bet that the officer was running hot when this happened.

Many times i have seen evidence of such a collision(a 12ft wide 25 ft long blood spot is hard to miss) this is the first time I've seen the collision.

Yeah, I would imagine you guys have some long stretches of road out your way in texas..

I used to run out to rochester NY from MA alot.

In upstate NY, RT 90 (or NY turnpike?) about every few miles or so you'd see 50 foot long splatter...I always thought it was a big rig that blew out a deer, but i guess a car would create just as big a mess?

Of course there was one time where it pretty clear it was a bear that was gross.lol

    i'd surely..

have been swearing up a storm after hitting a dear. Do they just wait for you to come along before the run out in the road?..The quail do that here and out of towners slam on thier brakes and cause all sorts of accidents..just run em over..there are millions of them..it's the sight of the little baby quail that make people do stupid things.

Maybe fast is better..I've seen deer come up over the hood and penetrate the windshield..maybe at 70-80 they just go pssst.

    one cool cop..didn't even flinch

I had the occasion to ride through Cameron Parish just a few weeks after hurricane Rita. I was on my Kawasaki ZZR1200 at the time, and just flying through the bayous. Something told me to slow down around the next curve, and wouldn't you know it......there was a 10ft long gator sunning himself on the road. Scared the crap out of me. I went around him quickly, and the only thing he did was snap at me.
Later on the ride I saw half a gator.....as the other half had been squished by a truck.
