    Question Damaged Shark Fins Rxtx

    I've Got A Few That Are Messed Up, Not Totally Gone, But The Edge Facing The Pump Tunnel Is Wore Down On A Few, What Do These Things Do And Will I Lose Any Performance Over It???

    Cavitation sometimes occurs when the fins are damaged, the fix is to file them all down and smooth, they are not all that needed.

    Steve,
    If you have any significant damage to any of the sharks teeth then you want to grind them out..ALL of them..If they are damaged then you will probley experiance some cavitation..And with your mods its almost inevitable..Grind them all out smooth for there are no ill effects by grinding them out..

    Steve, just remove them. I have mine removed on my rxp with no problems. My T-X fins are still intact.

    The gains are you dont have to worry about breaking them out anymore and posssibly some cavitation do to them being broke out...
