Free Flow and Fercho's jetworks mod

    M current setup on ski#1
2001 GP1200R with d-plate, R&D grate, R&D rec head, solas 13/19, all the pv and waveeater clips\couplers, etc.
My current setup on ski #2
Same as above, but with stock head only

Questions I have if you guys can shoot me some input are these:
    1. What would I notice with the jetworks mod with my stock exhaust still in place on either ski?
    2. Do I HAVE to go Free Flow to do the above mod?
    3. What would Free Flow ADD to the mod or setup?
    4. Do either mods take AWAY from top end or any speed ranges?
    5. If possible, can you answer including BOTH skis in mind?

I'm nervous about the sound issue...which is why I'd like to avoid FF if possible, or adviseable. I'm mostly on a very small river with a lot of houses, and don't want to annoy anyone...some drunk idiots on pwc around here already give us all a bad name. Just wondered what you guys think?
I KNOW there's info on the Riva board from you guys about this..but I thought I'd get a current check before I went ahead and started.

    Thanks fellas!!!
    Kevin

**The Jetworks Mod doesn't add top end, only provides a real good hole shot. Fernando's setup has been very successful in this area.
**Jetworks mod should work the same with OEM exhaust and Free Flow
**Free Flow doesn't help any on top, but relieves a bit of back pressure and makes it louder. Some have actually found a very small loss of rpms by using Free Flow and some havn't (-20 to -50 RPM loss in some cases).
**There is nothing wrong with using the stock sound suppression - it's actually great "as is" from the dealer, and many choose to continue using it.
Here is a link for doing a PVC Mod (much cheaper)>>

    Good Luck Kevin!http://www.greenhulk.net/yamaha/viewtopic.php?t=590

    Thank you!

Thanks for the info and great link! (saw that and the photos of your ski painted..my brother in-law who is a big rep for Dupont was amazed and loved it...wants to do something to my #2, which might become his soon.)

Speaking of that...with about 120 hrs on my ski #2, is $3800 a decent asking price from him? It's NADA is much higher, with cover, etc, but he's family. Just trying to find "even ground" and make a good deal.

Also, did you find that with PVC pipe and spray on bed-liner that it's definitely bearable to the rider as well as bystanders? Might be cool to get that growl I hear so much about..but not toooooo much growl, ya know? AND...if I did it and didn't care for it...how do I go back to stock? Or CAN I go back to stock?

Thanks again! I'm planning to get pics of my skis and tow vehicle up asap...(I'm proud of my Navigator plates that read "WAVRUNR") but it's just too damn cold here...I'm stuck up in Iowa...right on Illinois border. Brrrrrr...
