    A different look.....

    Since I rode my 1300 tripple all summer, like I stole it , and since I'm adding little more umph... I re-painted my pipes, and re-placed the blue hose with this........I like the black better, hides dirt&grease better The hose cost me $25 for two feet of it.

    Pete,red graphics would look good with the new painted pipes.

    I know.......I want to keep my ski ugly looking, and scraped up, and when people see it, it looks plain to them, not knowing it goes 85+ . Looking for a few more mph for next summer. Looks doesn't matter to me, it's the drive trane that matters, and I'm very happy with mine.

    Doesnt painting the pipes void the warranty or are they even warranting them. jw.

    Well I don't know about now, I bought this pipes in 01 painted them right away, one was bad sent it back and got it replaced, crack was inside,sold them afterwards, gone for 6yrs, bought them back, they were hanging in TCR's garage all that time, he never used them to this day there good and strong.

    If you don't want a ski to be used, best place to keep it would be Travis house

    I did one in a red and black hammertone powder coat. Liked it better than paint
