    Where to get jetting and filters and head..951xpl

    As the title says...............Where do I pick these things up for a good price? I want to get the miller heador equ(rec 92 octane),pro k or R&D filters and jetting for removal of the proks.Also what prop do you reccomend?This things a virgin so I want it to stay reliable for a while.Is there any other mods that are good and cheap to pick up some more speed?Also who mixes there own gas.Whats the correct ratio for these bikes?

    Check out the stickys for Bens secret mods I got all my ideas from there. Many good people on here to deal with buying the parts

    i got the proks and jet kit for my 98 xpl off the rossier website. proks were 90 buks for the set which is way cheaper than most. the jet kit is right on the money pretty much. that was 75 buks
    lws 95 but i think they are to big bc it bogs at low rpms but once it hits the hs jet it takes off, if you gun it from idle it jumps out the water.
    the hs is 147.5 and 145
    2.3 needle n seats
    115g spring

    got a 1.8 mph increase and tons of bottom end out the hole as well as midrange

    I think if you have the stock carbs with accel pumps you want 85 lows and 167.5 highs and 2.3 N/S thats what I am running with the head ProK's and 15/20 Concord impeller

    Does yours lean rev (keep climbing above 3k at idle) when on the trailer out of the water? Also is it slow to settle down after revving up out of the water?

    not to change the subject, but do you think thats the reason why im lacking the rpms? because of that setup.

    That's generally an indication of a lean / air leak condition, isn't it?

    Or lean low speed circut OR not enough fuel at carb (ie.. restriction).

    85 pilots 167.5 mains, stock n/s works great. Take the accel pumps off and use a 95 pilot. You can use stock HS needle setting of closed.

    Place a WTB add in the major forums classifieds section for the filters and jets. You be able to pick them for a good price that way.

    I didn't add the 15/20 until I bumped the compression, on advice from other members.
