    google earth - very cool!

u gotta check this out- go here and download google earth. . . its a program that lets u (via satellite) roam and zoom into practically any point specific area in north america. The images are a few years old but still, its really cool. In some places you can zoom in close enough to see individual cars, ect. find your house, anything....

Google Maps uses the same data as google earth, check out this site:

People have found planes in-flight captured in the satellite image. Kind of cool.

It is real nice. The only part I don't like is the access to view areas which in my opinion should not be viewed.

I'm retired military and just feel there are things that should not be viewed by others in different parts of the world...just my opinion.

I was digging it, until they forced an upgraded version. Now my little old laptop is having a hard time keeping up with the graphics. Sometimes it just shows green boxes.

just wait till you can download the inferred shots that will show you right through the roofs of houses. I think i'd check the sorority dorms out at major colleges!!!
