FREE FLOW EXHAUST INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
Free Flow installation instructions from RIVA's website.
This can be done using PVC.
PVC is a little quieter vs. the metal one.
Some Forum members have coated the outside of the tube with rubberized undercoating or a can a truck bed liner spray to reduce the (noise level); decibals. Both can be found at an auto parts store. The PVC can be found at any local hardware store.

Old thread updated.
For a 02 GP1200R
I used 3.5" dia. pvc pipe 12" long.
Could have used a shorter pipe but 12" pipe & shorter elbows fit snug & high out of way for other pump hull mods.
PVC pipe sounds better than aftermarket pipe.

The plastic sound suppression piece is removed but the metal water box stays. The pictures above are pretty clear as to what is done.
