    15f intake grates

    for a mildly built 15f whats the best intake grate set up ?? stock or r &d

    Depends on what you are wanting from your 15f.............

    If its top speed, I would mod the stock grate, if its better hook up in the rough get an aftermarket grate (which will scrub flat water top speed)............

    take out the center connecting bar and clean up the casting flaws and narrow the blades a little bit............

    I just actually finished. testing the R&D intake grate with R&D rideplate.. its great combo for rough,way better hook-up and and less purposing..
    i do notice though the speed loss in the calm/flat water but were i ride its mostly chop or ocean. so thats not a concern..

    Stock for flat water use

    no one seems to mention the worx grate which is real nice in between the stock and rd. will not shave off as much on top end, worx real good in chop compared to the stocker. if you ride in a lake with no chop, keep the stocker.

    You can check my project page....it has some info on the r&d a worx which Im running now with great success. It really is aggod great not that the r&d isnt but it requires more power and does load the motor more. Plus the speed loss..
