Has anyone taken the Quattro Kawasaki Splash Deflector off their Ultra? I'm not really crazy about the way it looks and it doesn't really deflect very well.
What does it look like off?

No, I don't mean on the hull.
On the front of the ski, there is a BIG, BLACK, PLASTIC NOSE PIECE.
That is what I am talking about. It sits directly infront of the chrome grille thing.
If that makes any sense at all.

OH!! that piece....
I dunno if i have ever seen a 250 with it removed.. I can tell you this much if they are not that to expensive and are not to diffucult to remove I might want to remove and change mine.. Looks like crap when it get Dinged -up.
Now that i think of it that piece might save you from the Soaking that you get now when not under full steam.. think of how bad it will be with out it.
I mean it does Look functional..

Yeah, I thought about it. I kinda would like to see it off, then maybe put an aftermarket splash deflector on. It would sit below the beltline and might look a little better.
What do you guys think?
