pro tec moflow kit for 1100 questions
I just bought a kit off ebay for cheap and recieved it today. Really nice kit with jetting kit, f/a's w/adapters, 38cc head, oem gasket. The head is the limited head from pro tec. calls for 104 octane. I didnt buy the kit for the head cause i knew it would put my compression around 165psi and the 104 octane required. I can turn around and sell the head and have a set of f/a's for free. The jetting kit came with 115 mains, 2.0 n.v, and what looks to be 65g springs...i cant tell if they are shiny or dull..my question is that the directions say that this jetting is for 92 octane. Now this did come as a kit therefore could i use this jetting and be safe on 93 octane with the 38cc head? On websites that still carries the limited head say requires 104 octane. but is that if you still have stock jetting? Im going to call pro tec tomorrow and see if they cant give me more information.

The high compression head will require using higher octane fuel. I had 165 PSI head on my 99GP and ran a 50/50 mix of 110 and 91 octane.
