raider seat cover + other bits
I'm painting my 753 purple hull with white gelcoat on the bottom and white easyepoxy on the top. The trim is going to change around the sides from orange/purple to grey/black.
Does anyone know where I can get a new seat cover that is grey/black? Ebay ?
Also I'm looking for a quick steer nozzle, a billet throttle lever, some billet bow eyes and a trim grip from a later ski that has the 5 positions (like a GP) if anyone has one or knows where to get them.
The grip would be going on UMI bars.
I should really keep a photo log of this build and post it. Changing the sponsons on a 94 is by far the hardest task!
For what it's worth here's what I have so far that's not cosmetic.
94 purple hull
r&D ride plate
Riva splash guard
groupK 753 hammer, fully ported (cases and cylinders), ported intake and carbs + reed stuffers + boysen reeds, billet couplers.
Coffmans rocket pipe.
UMI steering system
ENM PT141 tach.
I have an MSI enhancer too, but I'm thinking of not fitting it.
I should be ready to put it all together in a couple of weeks

OK, I'll take pics..
One funny thing is that the guy I bought it from had melted the rear piston.
I pulled the waterbox and other stuff in the back the other day to do the sponsons and found the extinguisher holder was almost melted and the polystyrene round the storage box was melted off. Now that's what I call running hot. The exhaust at that point is just vulcanized rubber, but it was OK. I think in this case he was lucky to blow the engine before he set fire to the ski!

nice work! I wish i could find a purple hull close to do a 1100 swap. Epoxy primer and bumper paint from duplicolor works great on the plastic bumpers. I painted mine black and after many uses only have a few scratches from hitting the dock. I even painted the front bumper with it.
