    Ultra 250 X GIO

Kawasaki had me take my 07 Ultra 250 to my local dealer. The dealer drained my oil and changed my plugs. They also installed parts provided by Kawasaki to correct the GIO problem.

When I picked up the ski the mechanic who installed them was gone. I will try to find out when I return the ski after 10 hrs . So far I have logged on 5 hours and my oil looks good.

O.k . Try to do it tomorrow. I wanted to post this information to let everyone know that Kawasaki is aware of the GIO problem since they contacted me about bringing the ski in. When I talked to them they were very specific about bringing my ski in to fix the GIO problem.I had never complained to Kawasaki or my dealer about the problem but like many other members it was a problem for my ski.

Are you saying you found GIO AFTER Kawasaki put this new "kit" on?

I am curious to see what Kawasaki has come up with.

I've heard of kawi installing a restriction in the motor cooling line to raise motor temp. (to no avail) but that is the only thing i've heard them install extra to help with the GIO. As you guys could well guess i am very interested in this thread.
