    Time to winterize

    Ok folks,
    This will be my first winter with skies. 94 sl750 and 95 slt780. THe 750 will be a winter project so it should be in the garage but the 780 will be in my carport covered. Need to know how to winterize. All help is appeciated.

    I think its gonna be a cold one here in NM. We need the snow to fill our lakes so let it snow, let it snow!

    God I hope you are right! Let it snow! If you get lots of snow, so will Colorado. And hopefully they will send most of the melt to Lake Mead instead of Powell next yr.

    Before you fog the engine, put fuel stabilizer in the fuel tank, and ride the machine for a few minutes. this circulates the stabilized gas.

    Remember to run the engine on the trailer after your last ride, this will get the excess water out of ur engine. u dont need the garden hose, this wont take long to do.

    Tip the nose of the trailer up high, if you can, This helps drain water out of the engine and cooling lines.

    Spray the fogging oil into the carbs while the engine is running until the engine dies.

    Thanks! Went to the lake this weekend boy it was cold and rainy!
