Question More problems on the lake again, help

took ski back to the lake again for testing after changing the TPS sensor.... that did fix the idle issue....

this time i put in an X charger for testing...

could not get past 7950 all day.... then HI TEMP alert again... argh...
    only temp issue past 7000rpms.....

seemed issue only started once i put in the 15/19 3 blade.... would a boost leak or prop issue cause a high temp issue?

    im loosing 600 rpms somewhere.....

Check the clamps on your J-pipe to water box connection. You should have two up top and one on the bottom, a very common problem is the second of the top clamps slips down and pinches the J-pipe pissers..

camaro, I`m gonna have to say you got lucky with the TPS sensor unless you found a way to zero it out. Did you do the reset protocol using the buds?

I'm refering to the J-pipe/waterbox connection.. Not the waterbox to exhaust exit connection.. From the pictures yours looks OK.. but the pissers could be clogged. Do you know how to remove your J-pipe? I would remove your J-pipe and inspect the pissers and look into your waterbox to check that your baffles are in place.

When off throttle most of the time I read 0 lbs of boost and at idle I read 12Lbs of vac..My gauge only reads boost when on throttle

Pale.... i have dealt with idle issue for some time... replaced the throttle cable cus it was sticking, cleaned TB, replaced idle bypass valve 2 times and last was TPS.... all is good now.... idles at 1800 with no issues...

Alex.... boost gauge B4 at idle would show like -0.6 or something.... and as i gave it gas i saw the boost....

like i said... only thing changed since last working was the prop and charger.... i had high temp issue tho before putting in charger.... so i am left with assuming that last week when working to hi temp issue the only thing changed was the prop from tweaked 15/20 to 15/19 (unknown pitch)

i just put back in the 15/20 for the hell of it to see what i am getting....

also forgot to mention i just replaced the knock sensor when i put in the charger because i was getting the knock sensor fault code....

waterbox is modded... baffles were cut

ok, I`m just saying that anytime TB or it`s components are changed that is it good practice to set up on BUDS to check value of TPS. Most TB/TPS are zero, but ya never know...
well good that your idling ok now...
