Hi everyone My name is Austin and I live in San Antonio TX.
I am a seadoo lover, but I have decided to try a yamaha out. I post on the other side of this site. LOL, but read all of yall's info as well. I just don't have much to say because I haven't ever had a yamaha ski.
Anyway I think it might change as I am looking for a replacement ski for my XPDi. And I like the fact that ya'll have so much info on this site and are so helpfull.
I have owned a Yamaha exciter 270 jet boat before, but sold it as we didn't use it enough. IT WAS AWESOME.
Anyway out of the EFI 1300r's is one any better than the other? I would be buying used so what years? 03, 04, 05?
Anything would help even price I should not pay over problems to look out for and compression specs when I check!
Just for info!! Not selling the RXP...But buying it a awefull fast partner!

hello water 4 fire, out of them years i would say the 05 is the year to go with. No more power valves, A better pump and the ski is lighter and 5 more pony's

No more power valves.
Where they that bad on a Yamaha?
How much is a good 05 gonna be? What would be a good price and what is too much?
5 more horse's is great. Yes!

Well I'm about to have my first Yami 1300 and I can tell you this, They are NOT the fastest off the showroom BUT have technolgy and great parts out there for these ski's. You will have to get hooked up with some those Texas guys since ya are already there like Fercho and she will be flying. Believe me my little ol Stage II Ultra got its but whipped at the MudBug Nationals. Heck, I cant beat em so hell I joined them... LOL Your RXP will be a mouse if ya get the right mods to the GPR...

Ha, I am not worried to much about that. My RXP runs awesome and I like the 4 stroke. It is nice. I am hoping this year it runs 75 steady.
I just would like the 1300 to be next to me and just have something else.
I wanna try another brand of ski since I have only had seadoo ski's
If it runs 75 that is a plus. My son and I are just racing each other most of the time anyway.

No better place than Texas for a fast GPR. We have some fast ones here in the Houston Area 77-78-79-80 AND 80+ MPH, If you do not own a GPR you will hate us
Give me a ring 713-875-1812

Fercho thank you for the offer and as soon as I get one I will give ya a ring. I have a offer for my XPDi as we chat.
So as soon as the deal is done I will have the money to take the step.
Two 75mph skis would be great.
