    Decal removal....

    I started screwing around today taking the decals off my ski. One thing I used to get the glue off was B-12 Chemtool carb cleaner... Seems to work better than anything else so far....

    GO to home depot and get the comercial strength Goo Off in the aeresol can... It will take anything off you need it too... It took me 2 hours to remove factory slip mats with it...

    Also,DO NOT use any kind of chemical besides heat on the windscreen/hood.....It will/can melt the plastic. Like if you use Goof-Off on the viser,it will smear the plastic...just a warning.

    Depends on how long the stickers have been on At this point I have done this back to a 94 and All good! Lee

    Did my 01 in 20 to 30 min all stock stickers! My 94 took a bit longer!

    plastic razor blades work well on stickers...west marine has them

    I used my heat gun and the stickers they practically fell right off. Care needs to be taken on the plastic parts same as with the chemicals.
