Having trouble starting the first time

i have a gp 1200 , and every time i turn it on for the first time in the day , it takes a lot of time of giving it power , i mean sometimes to the point of having the low bat alarm , now , i have the 4 electrode spark plugs , could that be the problem?? or maybe from breaking the engine with a little richer mix , the plugs could be oil faulted ?? once it turn on , i can turn it off , and dont have problems for the rest of the day

Do you have a primer kit installed or are you just using the choke? also run the recommended spark plugs for the motor and set the gap. Manuals for all models are located in the how to section.
