What a crazy NFL season so far..

I cant believe what im seeing... the most unlikely teams are winning and the best teams are struggling. Were going into week five now... so were almost a third of the way through our season. I think that what weve seen so far offers a pretty good assessment..
    so...
    What are your predictions??

The NFC is obviously the stronger conference this year.
I think that Philly may be the best team in the NFC... despite their loss to the Bears.
They may be the team to go all the way.

With the Pats out of the picture, whos the best in the AFC? The Chargers?

Very odd season so far.... The hawks have lost all 6 starting receivers so far this year.... I expect once they get a few back things will turn for them. this is a "turn" year for a lot of NFL teams (both good and bad)

I agree. there are a lot of rookie runningbacks that are already putting up great numbers.

Desean Jackson in Philly is going to be a star too. I scooped him up off the waiver wire in my fantasy league after his first game.

So what are your predictions? I honestly think Philly has a shot. Their offense is almost as good as Dallas and their defense is a lot better.
In the AFC, perhaps San Diego.. Phillip Rivers is finally emerging as a competent QB. Seems like he finally grew up. No more shouting at fans, making excuses for poor play, etc.

    I dunno...

Buffalo will win the east... San Diego the West... Tennessee maybe the south... The Jets and Broncos will probably be in the mix for a wild card.

At the very least, this will be a superbowl that no one predicted.
Sports Illustrated picked New England and New Orleans..

Titans=AFC Champs well maybe, if their defense keeps playing good.

Well being that I am a pats fan. I know they don't look that good right now.. But i sure as heck wouldnt rule em out. I think Buffalo is going to take the division with (dare i say it) the jets finishing dead last. But the pats will take a wild card spot at 11-5 or 10-6 and make it to the AFC championship. But I think there record will be deceiving. They are going to make a strong run winning their last 6 or 7 games which will not be that big of a deal due to strength of schedule. QB, CB, and LB play are going to come on strong in that stretch. BB teams tend to always step it up towards the end.

Of course, I also predict Cassel will be starting for the Jets next year too!
