getting the rxp to mid to high 70s on a budget

Hi, Im looking to get a rxp to mid to high 70's relatively cheap. Any free mods would be awsome too. So far my list is...
    power filter kit
    xs intercooler
    freeflow exhaust
    2 deg. pump wedge
This should get me there, but are there any alternatives or cheaper or better ways? All help appreciated!

Use the "search" function to look for free mods...fill rideplate holes, true the inatke grate to the rideplate for starters. As far as a budget. Research what others are using with the same ski you have. Most have their best GPS speeds and RPMs posted in their signature. Draw up an Excel spreadsheet then go to the store (link to the left) and plug in prices. You may also keep an eye in the classifieds section, to pick up some of the mods you are looking for. Be patient and you can get some really fine deals. holler if you need anything. There are several thousand of us willing to help, but d yourself and us a favor and use the "search" function. Read, then post questions when you do not understand. --jeremy

    I'd say:

    XS Intercooler kit
    X Charger
    RRFPR
    Grate
    Prop
    Intake

Even though you have been here for awhile, this is your first post....so WELCOME!!

Check the database to see what mods people have to go that speed...

Forget the power filter, go with a 4" kanaflex setup...

You will need other items like prop, bigger SC, grate, etc...

You can get to 70-72 relatively cheap, 74-75 for a few $$$$ more...anything more than 75ish will require time, money, and ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!

Thanks for the welcome and quick responses. Im not looking to get that into it. My neighbor got a rxp-x and I gotta beat him by a bit haha. So what are the best mods for a few mph's? Ive been searching but havent found a whole lot. Or if I did not enough info on it.

That'll get you high 70s for around $2000 and put you close to the rxp-x in accel. Anything less and you'll be looking at his tail until you hit top speed.
