but you might need to be more inland from the coast.
Florida has more than 11,000 miles of rivers, streams & waterways
Longest River - St. Johns at 273 miles
Largest Lake - Lake Okeechobee at 700 square miles
(the 2nd largest freshwater lake in the United States)
Number of Lakes greater than 10 acres - Aprox. 7,700
Number of First Magnitude Springs - 27
(Florida has more first magnitude springs than any other state.)
Posting your questions here might get more response...

2 live in FL
We're just so busy riding our Jetski's year round in the best fresh and
salt waters on the planet it's hard to stop by and reply!
There are killer fresh water runs throughout FL, many of them concentrated in Central Florida. How about fresh underground fed springs, twisty rivers, high speed drag racing......well that's FL.
Check out our club website under Past Events.....there's plenty of video and pix to give you the flavor.

There is lots of killer riding in fl. Check out this short vid of a small section of the peace river. about 1h15m south of clearwater. There is the manatee river and braden river wich are much closer to clearwater.

speedskixp, that's a cool video, that water looks pretty shallow in some areas... we are still several feet low here in Lake County, praying for rain.

I am in daytona and would strongly suggest that you go to the surrounding cities. Ormond Beach is one city north which is pretty nice, still growing alot so there are lots of opportunities there, if you go one city south your in Port Orange which is where I would suggest going. Very nice place, close to the halifax river, or to ponce inlet leading out into the ocean, if you go inland about 20 miles you will hit many lakes that are PERFECT for ski's, small enough that you dont see many big boats out there but big enough to have alot of fun with on skis. My choice is Lake Dias, check it out on google earth and you will understand what i mean by the size. shoot me a PM if you have any questions. O ya and there not joking about riding year around!

the MAJORITY of folks on this board, are either from Florida, NJ/NY, Texas, or Chicago area. I think by far Florida has the most riders on here.
Some spotty coverage in the southwest/west, and some up northwest...
some jackass from Louisiana is on here too.
