*** FYI - Seadoo Revamps Oil Products in 4-tecs****

just an FYI... the older regular oils are NO MORE

all the old part numbers for quarts and gallons and drums of oil supercede to a new part number...

seadoo only makes 3 oils now

    2-stroke
    Mineral
    Synthetic

    4-stroke
    Synthetic Blend

    it's EXPENSIVE

    ... PS... it's EXPENSIVE

I've been using Valvoline Motorcycle oil...VV470....As long as its JASO certified, and does not have friction modifiers, its good....and $4/quart

Two - three years ago the local dealer wanted over $10+/quart for both mineral & synthetic oil. That's when I started to buy it and the filters on the Internet for about half... Ron

computer is acting up on me... i'll get the info when i can. i have a bunch of stuff on order... but all the oil products are "delayed" ... i guess do to the stock/inventory transition

tried to order a 55 gallon drum, and it was a different part number and it said semi blend instead of the usual part number and description. this prompted a call to BRP before placing the order to make sure i was getting the right stuff for 4-tec SCed skis, and that's what was explained to me about the oil product change...

The new 4tec oil is really really good,I know the company that tests the oil and they say there is not a better oil for the 4tec s/c boats period. They tested all brands against it,There was no comparison.
