    pro pipes slx hull

the pro1200's have an offset gas tank from the factory, the slx tank won't work, the pipes are made to run thru the left side where the tank sits, adding a pro tank still won't provided enough clearance from what i've seen,so remounting a pro tank in an slx hull and moving it to the right about 4 inches.the mag pipe tube on the collector box will need 2" cut off it

Did they make a set of pipes for the SLX? Would it be easier just to do the mods and install the 1200 pipes, since there is a set going pretty cheap?

    pipes

the slxh triples will fit,but hard to find.the race pipes built for the 900-1050's will fit with a pro tank, sirhc already did it in a slx1200 hull setup.

I passed on the pipes. I keep forgeting im almost 48 with 2 herniated discs in my back. Going to pull the motor out of the slx, and part it out. I may have found a MSX 140 hull that has triple pipes in it. Would be alot smoother ride.

    Also remember....

Fuel tanks can be BENT, with a heat gun, and some type of object like a block of wood. I was putting 18 gallon gas tanks from three seaters in my gpr for a while now, making substantial bends in the tanks to fit the seating area.

I'd suggest you install it, mark up the area, and do some heating and bending. It's a trial and error thing, so I'd practice on an old tank before starting. I have a few laying around if you want to pay shipping.
