And there is a slight angle where he is hitting the ski. It might mean another couple of tenths if he could line up the radar in a straight line with the ski.
I know this is open for debate.

Hard to tell. Hard to see, It almost looks like the radar hits 80 at the precise moment the rider lets up. Coincidence? Might be my eyes playing tricks on me, though.

    It's a spike.

If you notice the numbers occilating @ 77mph trying to reach 78. The 79.7 is a spike. Could'nt see the 80 vid at all.

Their RAD yesterday was 104%, which is very, very good.

Plus you need to run back to back going both ways to get your proper average.

I would say that it's an honest 77-78 ski in imo.

Good job at getting over the 75mph hump, PPG.

I looked at the videos several times and have to agree with Mike on both videos.

He is pretty close to the bank. Not much room for correction if needed.
But wait isn't it possible to get a faster speed in shallow water.

It was kind of odd that Frazer didn't have much of a reaction
when he was told by the guy he ran 80 mph. Wonder if the rider
was watching a GPS too and it wasn't showing that high of speed.
Right now the conditions are perfect for speed down there, but I can
tell you come summer time that boat will not be near that fast. Remember
the one that came to the Ralley and ran in the drag racing event. He was suppose to be another 80 mph RXP. He didn't even make it pass my slow XPL and I think he was radar at 73mph in the heat. And I love there 75 mph RXX boats, that one ran 68 mph when I dusted them using a stock OEM pipe. And don't forget the $5000 race he back out with me the day before the run because he sold the unit. There is a Ralley the first part of April, maybe he will show.
