    Trim tabs... Part DUH....

Well, thanks to Slaw, and his friend in Delaware, I am the proud owner of '97 and early '98 GP trim tabs. After the debacle of having the wrong ones made for mine, I finally got it together... The tabs showed up yesterday:

As for the 3M 5200 you see on the installed tab, that has since been trimmed flush with a razor blade. I took it out this afternoon, and there is a night, and day difference. The front end is a lot more stable. I also noticed that the sponsons do not dig into the water nearly as much. I had to have them cranked all the way down to help control the porpoising. Also, the lip at the rear does not spray water like it used to. These tabs definitely provide some extra lift.

Went out again today.... I just can't say enough about what those tabs have done for my ski... Next to the Shred Master, the BEST money I have spent on ride control.

For example, I can set the nozzle in the all the way up position, nose up in the air, and ride Superman... I could NEVER do that before.
