Smile CandleWood lake and the ENCON a soothing story..

    Hi all,
I just wanted to thank all you CT riders who turned me on To CW.I really like this body of water. I can see how on a hot day in the summer this lake would be "manhattan" on the water.
The Lake today was host to some kind of Bass tourney... I had many bass boats zipping all around me...
I also wanted to thank the CT state ENCON for not giving all those ticket$ that i earned... you know the Grass... sorry "milfoil" that was stuck up under my trailer... I eagerly crawled under my trailer and removed every strand of that pesky stuff,It wont happen again.I will also remove ALL of my Regi Numbers(as per your instruction) because they are not the 2" in apart that YOUR state requires- thank god they WERE the allowed 3" high.Last but not least.. My NY BOATERS licence which i thought was Good in CT.I will Find a PWC licence course.I can see the $200 i spent today on the ferry was worth it.
Thanks for being Cool, I know you were just doing your Job. I really did get an education.

Gig, there is ALWAYS a bass tourn on that lake. It produces trophy fish of all types and has the largest average catch of all stops on the tours.

Ps. the reg # spacing is a USCG regulation. I had no problem w/my NYS Parks certificate.

    Smile

I should have gone there with my Bassboat and left the ski at home... maybe less headaches.
In My post i guess i was being a bit of a smart ass... I am not going to change anything. I'll read more. i guess.. I do understand the bit about the Milfoil. IF i ever go back to CT again i'll just have to clean it off before i leave. and in regards to the spacing.. it'll stay where is is. I dont know what a NYS park certificate is. is that something from the CG? I have had my ski inspected by the USCG and received a passing grade..
I suppose that if my ski is good enough for the GOVT. I would hope that it's good enought for the State of CT. I did not think of showing him my cert though.. he DID have me dead to rights on the Milfoil thing though..
The only thing i might have to change is WHERE i ride.
