quick question on some bigger mikuni carbs.
Installed a set of redtop 46mm Mikunis on my 800, runs pretty good...half throttle its feel like it has tons of power, but up top it feels like the power is flat. before i start twisting things i shouldnt be, can someone help me with with which screws are my high and low adjustments , thanks in advance.. If pics are needed i can get them.

Shoot us a pic as they can be mounted differently which means the high and low speeds screws are in different locations. If they are Mikuni carbs there should be a big "H" cast next to the high speed screw on each carb...just a FYI.

The easyest way to remember is the low speed screws are near the Base and High Speed Screws are near the top...
I had Red Tops on My 96 XP they gave me 300 rpm on top but sucked for anything but WFO. I went back stock after a week of trying to come up with a good compromise that worked well enough for wave jumping and the no wake zones

i know the previous owner drilled a small hole in the butterfly plate for idle quality, idles pretty smooth.
