Thread: Oil Lines

Gentleman, as one of my winter projects I would like to replace the oil lines on my 04 GPR.
I've been searching and reading posts for a little bit now and I've read that these mikumi pumps are just about bullet proof but the lines have been known to dry rot and fail.
Premixing of course would be the safest measure but with the ammount that I fill up on the water I'd prefer to keep the oil injection
What I'm asking of you guys is any suggestions on what to use for oil lines? something that's going to hold up.
Also would I use normal hose clamps or how about those oeikiter (sp) style clamps for security?

Definitely use the Oetiker clamps and a good quality Tygon line.

FYI I have never seen nor heard of the oil lines on a 13R failing... they all have a special coiled band type stainless clamp that secures the lines to the injection nipple.
