    X2 efi 4-stroke?

It's been a very long time since I've been active in the PWC world. Sometime in the mid 90's we put my X2 in my Dad's basement and there it has sat for 10 some odd years. Well, the bug has bitten and I will soon have a place at my house to store and work on it. I will be inheriting(cause he doesn't want them anymore) a 86?X2, 89 WaveJammer, 94 XP, and 94 SL750. The X2 has always been my baby. From what I recall it has hydro turf mats, straight bars, thumb throttle, skat trac impeller, wiesco pistons, and cometic gaskets on top of a deep purple paint job. So there's the history of me, now on to my question. I would like to rebuild the pump and swap in a better power plant. Are there any efi options out there for the X2. I'd also like to do a low compression 4-stroke if possible for future nitrous or turbo setup or both.

ps. I have tried searching around but, I constantly get the too short message back when searching X2 or 750. Any hints around that would be awesome.

These are the same motors from the HSR stand ups, good for 110hp with potential mods(yeah, they get expensive) but 110hp should rock in an X2.

Very cool. What's a HSR? It's been a really long time since I was well versed in PWC.

HSR or Hydrospace started building 4-stroke stand-ups in an effort to dominate stand up racing a few years ago(2005-2006).

Gave the X2 a quick wipe down while I was over my Dad's house. Just wanted to take stock of what will need to be done along with a new engine.

    My X2

The Jammer(should be good to learn the wife on)

Believe it or not these two dirty dogs still get rode.

JUst some off the top of my head other mods are a custom driveshaft, reworking the fuel tank and delivery system(you will need a fuel pump for the efi) reworking the cooling system(if you have intercooled engine like the HSR Weber, you will need to add cooling for it) re-working the exhaust too.

I was looking at that same engine for my Octane. After talking to randy at watcon.com I'm pretty sure the crankshaft centerline will be too tall to fit the octane. It look like it was over 6".

I'm now trying to get some info on the Bombardier Ski Doo snowmobile 2cyl

You could always beg svtdrag225 to build you a drop gear box like on his v-6 GPR
