Pre-mix fuel injection..sound off.
Who is running pre-mix oil with their fuel injected GPR's? Have you check for cylinder wear? Is it running leaner? I am needing to get some feedback before I do this on my neighbor's 1300. Thats all I need...blow up my neighbors ski.

I have been running pre-mix for about 20 hard hrs now and compression remains un-changed. As a matter of fact, I did richen up my idle circuit a little.

If it ain't broke.....
I'm always amazed how hard we design all these contraptions to make these skis go a million miles an hour, but get spooked over an oil pump.

I wasn't spooked by the oil pump demon until my 87mm BB demanded more oil than the little half moon could produce. After a scorched #3 piston and cylinder the oil pump is now a "garage queen".
I like the convenience of the oil pump and if I could keep it then I would.

I hate premix. I hate carrying around extra oil. It sucks. Then if I don't use it all, I have old gas with premix in it. Not my choice for sticking in the car, regardless. I've never lost an oil pump. I've only seen one oil pump related failure. The oil lines got hard and cracked off the nipple on a stock kawi.
Jetskinjoe ran his triple piped gpr with oil injection too. Ran just fine.

125 hours 146psi here no probs with stock injection use in surf most times

although i do like the oil injection, i did have a failure last spring on my 03 and seized #3. Hope it doesn't happen again.....

If you do not put any hours on your ski premix is fine.
