    remeber these

when you're working with gas, grinders, drills, hammers and props.

    it only takes one second

I had just purhcased a new mig welder and a nice hood..wearning my regualr glasses and all soIwas feeling like I was "Mr. Safety".

Well a spark managed to work it's way under the hood, past my had and under my glasses and gave me a nice lilttle burn right under my eye.

morla of the story..there is a reason safety goggles fit tightly around the eyes. wear em.

Buy em a dozen at a time and toss then out if they get scratched.

great post, great videos, hats off to canada..that's going to keep somebody off the top of a ladder and wake up some people who are charged with watching out for us.

I can't tell you that attitude I get from some customers when I mention they need to replace required safety gear. My attorney has suggetsed I add a line to service orders indicating required safety gear will be repalced as needed with any service work requiring a water test.

My little voice goes off when I'm about to do something stupid. I hope he never takes a day off when I need him the most.

A coworker Sent them. The one ladder fall got me. Such a common task climbing a ladder, and how easy it is to shortcut a task. Let's not forget the shortcut us hobbyists take while working on our toys!

No kidding. And that was one Hell of a stunt. I kept watching over, and over trying to see if it changed from a real person to a dummy. It looks like whoever did that fall really did it...
