    1997 gp1200 rev limiter

    Is there a rev limiter on a 97 gp1200?if so how can i get around it

    The rev limit is 7050. Riva used to make a CDI for it. In smooth water a stock GP1200 is turning 6750. There is no need for it to be any higher on a single pipe motor, stock or modified.

    Your going to have to find one used, they no longer make them.
