    Next mods for 03 Gp1300r

Hi, I have a 2003 gp1300 with the 2005 pump update kit Solas Dynafly 14-20, & pump seal kit.

Everything else is stock, what would you recommend the next mod to be? I am mainly looking for bottom end / mid range.

I mostly ride in light chop & closed course with my friends most weekends I want to run pump fuel (this is around 90 octane)

P.s what rpms should I be getting with the ski at the moment.

    Thanks

How much speed and hole shot did you gain with the 05 pump set up?

For bottom and mid, I would do these mods:
Heads, Riva or R&D, Dplate, efi controller, Filter, and Jetworks mod, with freeflow. Rivas plate helps a little with holeshot as well.
You could try a 87mm exit nozzle as well.
Some people say the freeflow will loose some top end rpm's, some don't.
Some people say you need it with the jetworks mod, some don't.
Me;It cost me 50rpm fitting it, and I felt the jetworks mod worked better WITH the freeflow fitted.
As a comparison for you Stock ski verses the Riva stage 2 as tested by personal watercraft illusrated (Oct 05)is as followes.

    Stock;0-65.27(Max speed)13.22 seconds. 0-20mph 1.85seconds.
    Stage2 0-71.09(Max speed)14.21 seconds. 0-20 1.24seconds.
Looking at the graph the stock does 60mph in about 7seconds, and the stage 2 gets there in about 5 seconds.
Get a aftermarket tach before doing anything. You need to know what your rpm,s are.You need to be over 7000 rpm. I like to see 7100.
people knock them, but aTiny Tach is fine for getting accurate max rpm readings. They update a bit slow, which can be a pain when carb tunning, but no problem on the efi skis. N&C jetski has them, £50.
BTW,The jetworks mod is good for an extra3-5 boat lenghts out of the hole on top of the above figures.

Sorry, should have made it clearer. I lost 50rpm with fitting the freeflow!
On another note Fercho, I did loose rpm's with the jetworks mod when I teed the rear cooling line from the cylinder head for my water supply.
Have you any suggestions of a better place to get my water for the jetworks mod from?
I Don't want to drill a hole in my transom, and I want to Keep my bilge syphon!

Thanks guys! Im currently turning 7080 rpm (tiny tach) with 05 pump & 14/20 Dynafly everthing else is completely stock.

I am looking for the best bang for the buck!
I might try a ride plate & grate next, Which is best? I also want to run stock compression.

    Reed stuffers any good?

    Thanks again

exh.mod works great for rpm range you run,you may go with jetworks style hook up and maybe loss few rpm up top /Fercho routing is different and has greater water volume at high speed (I'am lazy and have jetworks style works great )
