Which Grate fo a SHO
I had an episode with my SHO eating his rope. Luckily it just wrapped around the shaft a few times and never touched the impeller. However when I took the grate off I really was dissapointed with it.
I have decided to get a new one that will improve performance but it seems there are so many choices. I'm hoping I can get a quick summary of which way to go from someone who has got a great result doing this. Many thanks in advance.
ps. I also noticed a few round areas (about an inch in diameter) of paint missing in the area under the grate. Is this normal & should I get it fixed?
Mods, I hope this is in the right place. Just move it if not.

Most of the time I ride in chop no less than 1 foot up to big stuff and I really enjoy jumping. Do you think the Riva grate going to be worse than standard for this?
I do love riding on the glassy stuff sometimes but dont see it much.

The Riva grate will help a lot in your riding conditions.

Grate and impeller question
am i correct in assuming removing the grate is straight forward, bolts and done with it, same for ride plate, no special tricks or no sealers, no bolt thread lock goop, just as simple as it seems??
also what about an impeller change???
thinking of doing this to these mean fastest pwc's in the world vx sports we have.. for a little improvement... lol...
