    Obama wins 2nd Debate 54% to 30%

Just to clear the air I decided to start a new thread. Just the
    facts please......
    http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/...oll/index.html
"A majority of debate watchers polled thought Obama was more intelligent, by a 57 percent to 25 percent margin over McCain. Debate watchers also thought Obama more clearly expressed his views by a two to one margin, 60 percent to 30 percent."

I concur Mr. and Mrs. America. Obama is the most qualified to lead the USA
at this time. Joe Biden is without question the most qualified VP candidate to function in that role in the next administration.

There's lots of work to do to unravel what has been done to the US over
the last 8 years. I would imagine that Obama will need two terms......

i think obama won the debate my self but no becuase of his content i think they both came off with a lack of it though i think mccain gave a little more content then obama. i think obama presented him self in a more favorable light then mccain. as well as mccain kept doing stupid stuff in the debate. like walking out into the circle while obama was talking.
tom im sure you know how i stand with bush. but if you dont i think he overall did a good job but made some mistakes. iraq being one of them. but overall i think that most of congress fell for the same mistake bush made there.

how ever id like to hear from what mistakes did bush make? what mess are we unraveling? and how is obama going to fix it? dont blame stuff on bush that he has no control over. like gas prices.

Tom, just in case you weren't aware, CNN is a left wing news media and the people responding to their polls lean that way as well.

I guess that must be why CNN has Ed Rollins, Sr. Republican stragegist,
    on so often.

Sometimes when the news is bad for your cause/candidate I guess you
have to blame the messenger. CNN happens to run more air time on
political and news events than any other organization on the planet.

Yeah, them left wing leaning commies are electing Obama this go round!
Glad it wasn't Bush's last 8 years running the USA..........

yah i dont put much weight in debate polls. didnt they say bush lost all his but look he took both elections. maybe democrats watch them more then republicans or something 60-30 spread is alot whether its a liberal site or not. though be interesting to see what other polls state.

im gona make a prediction i could be wrong. here it is i think the polls are off and were going to see a much tighter race then people are thinking its going to be. states that are supposedly locked up by both candidates will be very close come election time. at least as it stands now. i think were gona have another 2000 election here

Oh yes Mr Bush, his family and his administration are deeply connected
to higher gas prices. Its a long story, don't feel like typing now, gotta work.
    some Highlights
    • Bush family ties to Arabs and Oil companies in TX and Middle East go
      back for decades.......Google it
    • Bush record on alternative fuels, awful
    • Bush running up the deficit (he had help) by over a Trillion dollars
devalues US currency. Lower value of US dollar immediately results
in higher prices for any imported good.........including, you guessed it,
      Gas
    • Bush and Company deregulation of financial industry......just read
      recent news......
    • Healthcare? Don't get sick you 44million people without health coverage.....Bush and rest of Congress have a great health/pension
plan.......wish I had that one too.......
The list goes on and on..........why do you think Obama is going to get elected in 3.5 weeks?? I'm not a big fan of the Democrats, I'm an independent. Unfortunately independents don't get elected in this country. However I do think that once elected Obama will do the right thing. He needed the Democratic Party to get there. He has his sights on the good of the country. In a certain sense winning the Presidency frees him from party allegiance. He is an intellectual and has a clear view of what he wants to do and how he would like history to judge him. I never saw this with George W Bush.
