Thread: tow rope

What do I need on the back of the waveraider 1100 to hook up a tow rope,, The SeaDoo and Polaris have the hook,, the Yamaha has a hole on each side.

i used this ski hook on my gpr with a piece of stainless sheet metal on the inside,looks big but the ring outside diameter is 62mm

do they make something that goes into to those 2 holes????

it comes with nuts and washers,i added a piece on sheet metal for added strenght,i will try and get some pics

I believe the answer to your question is no.
I've seen people tie off a rope to the grab handle, but i can't recommend that. (at the very least some type of swivel to increase rope life should be attached to the grab handle first... but still wouldn't recommend)
Not to mention the 1100 raider is a 2 seater (i assume yours is) which makes it commonly illegal to tow behind it; if your's is 3 seater disregard.

Yea,, I can not do the rope in the grab handle,,
I may be wrong but texas laws states a spotter OR the 4inch mirrors when towing?
is this a fine line law or???
I may try to make up a sling to go into those holes.
I like the bolt on tow hook but have not found one yet,,

the tow hook is available at west marine if u have one near by?
