I think im Done
hey guys.. i just wanted to post up since i have been recooping the past few days.. But i wanted to come on here and say hello... And thanks for the few people that helped me out after my accident..
Alot has gone through my mind the past few days.. Family, friends, life, my future. Etc.. I really think its time to sell my ski and move on. I have gone out of my way to have fun this year, and it seems like everything went wrong.. Ive gotten ridiculed by fellow skiers, and its no biggie, i can take it.. but im starting to think that im not cut out for this.. or im "Not good enough" for some people on here...
So i guess i will be selling the ski, and moving on... It was nice meeting the few people who treated me with respect and genuinely enjoyed riding with me in the small amount of time i was around.. i will miss it..

don't sell it yet ron...
we still need to have our "battle of the bulge" race
but if you do end up selling it, i do know of a buyer that will give it a good home and it will stay " in the family"

Ron, I can totally understand where your coming from... I think if I had been through what you have been through over the last few outings I would be done too..
We get into hobbies to enjoy ourselves and to get away from the BS we have to put up with in our everyday life... When our hobbies start sending us to the hospital it's time to really reconsider what we are doing as a hobby...
Take care Ron..I wish you the best.

Don't know what happened, don't know what was implied in your post, and don't know you.
That being said I think you owe it to yourself to get out in the water at least once after your accident. This way if you do decide to walk away and hang em up at least you went out right. Don't walk away from something just cause it looked you back in the eye, you have to at least go towards the resistance or you'll regret later on.
And I know what you mean about mishaps etc. I guarantee you I have mine a lot more mistakes. Had to get towed twice this season at no fault of my ski. Just cause your balls outweigh your sense doesn't mean your sense is not in the right position.
When I first met you I asked for you and Scott to come down so I can show you my local water. That offer still on table. Heal up do what you gotta but don't worry about deciding on whether to get in or out of skis until after your able to stand back up.
