Whats needed for me to run a Rude SC?

I am looking to run a Rude rather than my Stage 3 SC. Could I just install the Rude or do I need to do anything else like RRFPR?

You will need a rrfpr and a different prop.

Or if you're handy with electronics, the AEM F/IC would work. In either case, you'll need more prop.

Damn domino effect. I just want to make one change, but always equals 3 more which lead to another 3.

Maybe I can do the RRFPR, Rude, and have my prop tweaked to a 14/20.

You could but you would need to test AFR to see if is enough fuel.
I am at elevation so my mods and setting are differenent then at sea level but i run stock ecu, rude, stock injectors and RRFPR with good AFR numbers.

Before the above setup i ran stock ecu, 42s, with S3.

I am converting over to Rude2 and will run stock ecu, 42s, and RRFPR.

Get you a RRFPR and try stock injectors and 42s with rude to see which is best setup for your conditions. You really need to check AFR when you start playing with high boost .

+1 you definitely need to check A/F. I think all of these guys that plan on running these 2rudes with 42's and rrfpr will be running lean especialy @ sea level. I'm not familiar with tuning at elevation but I will be suprised if 42's are enough for your set up. I say this because I am maxing out the 48's with the ET.
When are you testing the 2 rude?

My SC will be in Jerrys hands Monday so might see it back by end of the week. Hopefully next weekend will be testing the rude2. I got some 50,s if the 42s dont work, and also got a R and D tunner for my RXP so could really get technical with proper inj, RRFPR, and R and D tunner if need be.

Its going to be fun testing the next month or so with cooler water and temp.

At my elevation 2,200 ft, it really changes alot when the water starts cooling back down. Gets me closer to what you guys normally run as far as mods so will be interesting.

Cool. I am curious to see how that R&D tuner will work for you. Your gonna need it to get a clean idle.
