    gp1300r "06" will not start

Post Ike problem , I just drop my 06 Gp1300r in the water and started it. It almost tossed me before I pulled the kill switch. It's had the cable mod on the gas , but it acted alittle funny when I first pulled it. I have about 150hr's on it and it's had 2 Cat's put in it along with the H2o box replaced during warranty. So I am in the now what stage? I did put a D-plate and clip in it. It will turn over ,but I have no spark. I ck for codes and got O1- or normal. I ck'ed the kill switch and it looks ok. What next anyone? Help Please.

Thanks for the welcome. I did try unhooking the battery ,twice. I will try unhooking chip and try the sensor when I get back to coast.

Make sure the throttle is all the way closed. They might have the cable out of adjustment a little bit when they replaced it.The ski will not start if its out on the EFI ski's.

Exactly, hold the throttle open and then let the throttle lever "snap" shut. Then try to start it and see what happens.

    thanks

I will try all the items listed above Sat AM and with any luck they will work. Its 5 miles to tow to the nearest open boat ramp due to IKe damage . Note to self, test motor before dropping ski off the bulkhead.lol

    Thanks

    it started but

well it started by holding down the throttle at the manifold. But if I release it rev's way up. I can't see the adjustment problem. I see the two hex screws ,but which one is out of Wack?

You need to adjust the throttle cable itself at the throttle lever.
