    Stock XL1200LTD Jetting

I just bought a blown ski that had a fresh carb rebuild. The jets were what the manual calls for....87.5 pilots 117.5 mains....

My question is that I see people using 100 pilots 120 mains, and from what it looks like the ski was running lean. Could someone with jetting experience please tell me which jets to use? Thanks

My jetting is in my sig. I have my choke plates removed and FA's installed. Your jetting will differ a little if you have choke and stock airbox installed (OsideBill will know what jets). Also after you rejet you will need to disable/remove accel. pump. Some people use the 120 mains with my setup but I went with the 125's per Carl's (Island Racing) recommendation. My ski runs great.

Here's a link to what Oside suggests, it works quite well for me.

Figure the jetting you see here is with open f/a's which is way less restrictive than the OEM set up. If you are jetting up make sure you are using FA's.
