    MSD Total Loss

What do you guys think of this system? Is it worth it or should I just use a rad wheel and my stock system?

    Thanks

I agree with bill, but I dont think its the most realable set up to use for rec riding. My pick up went bad at least 3 times as I remember (SJ)

    No gauges and no charging.
Took a little getting used to,but on my GP1200 triple piper its sweet.
Only once I forgot to charge it and Then it sucked.

Theres other ways to do it.
Compare a stock spark to MSD theres no comparison.

I have a friend with a msd ignition on a gpr. He keeps getting shocked through the bars. Any suggestions on what might be causing the feedback to the bars from the coils?

That actaully happened to rius during a race. Not sure why?? Would have to guess it has to do with the on off button maybe. As far as pickups I was having issues ways back. Then figured to just gunk the pickups with silicon to help keep some vibration away from them. Very helpful havent had a problem in yrs.. Also silicon the wires goin through the front cover.

    Sounds like the holeshot setting.
Must be a short from switch or wiring only way to get to bars.
I dont use the holeshot switch but it limits rpm using a switch on bars.
