Group K ride plate
I put the group K ride plate on my ski, tested the stock and the r&d ride plates, by far the best ride plate I have had on my ski. Just thought I'd let people know. I was impressed with how the boat picked up 1.5 to 2 mph over the r&d ride plate. The handling is almost the same, but I give the edge to the Group K ride plate. And for $60, not a bad deal at all.

Yes stock ride plate modified by Group K. My boat is a consistent 70 mph ski right now, it maybe more since I noticed my nozzle was not setup correctly, but we fixed that and the boat seems to like it. But the group K ride plate so far has been the best one I've used.

Yea shooter, what's your setup...I'd like to get to 70ish this year. And, I'm already buying some parts. I have the R&D plate with the angle mod...I may have to check out group K though.

sure, if they ever return it back to me. It will be brand new still in the package.
I have the Fercho mods done to my ski. Not sure if he wants me to throw out the information, so let me call him tonight and ask if its cool if I post them. I bought my parts from Fernando since he recommended everything to me. Glad I did because everything that I bought looked brand spanking new at good prices.

Nando tested that plate way back in 2000, he switch to the R&D plate and passed the plate around to whomever in our group did not have a ride plate yet. Once I got a Protec I gave it back to Nando and Nando gave it to Coop, you figure what Nando thought of it
It was ok I guess, it did gain a little speed but also made my ski porpus. It was night and day once I got the Protec.
Scooter, keep your R&D plate once you get it back, you should really test it out first since the last one was warped.
BTW- Thanks for the Cock Block on that Dean's Team manafold
