help...carb throttle shaft sbn 38 triple

found the #3 carb had a bend valve and the screws bored out the threads. So i had to damage the shaft to remove. No big deal i order a shaft repair kit and i get it today. Its not the right shaft. Its the shaft that fits a single carb set up. I cannot find anywhere even mikuni for these shafts...

why would it be different? a 38 is a 38 ? edit or is the shaft cut to short and you can't hook it to the second carb?

well the shafts for #3 and #2 are shorter with a bracket on the end. The last carb in line is the one it fits. The first two shafts have slots for gaskets unlike the last one. Ill get pictures tomorrow...

    A pic might help?
But a shaft that is in the first line of carbs has a lenth of about 116mm and the end of line has a length of about 108 mm
seem like you could use the longer one if need be at the end by installing the bushing like the first carbs have that takes up the extra distance?
