    Triples... But what about doubles?

This may, or may not be a silly question... Since the 760 is basically 2/3 of a 1200 engine, what about using 2 of the 3 pipes from a triple set? Not something I am really considering, but wondering if there is any gain to be had?

they run twin pipes on the dual cylinder stand ups etc.... and they obviously get appropriate gains using them that way, as far as i am aware, same deal less cylinders.

i think things like cofman pipes might be an example of this but my knowledge in this area is very limited, there are a lot of twin pipe setups though as a lot of locals around here run them for comp stuff. dont quote me tho as i am going out on a limb here

So can I get confirmation that the rear two pipes from a 1200 triple setup will work on my 760?

Other than that, I do know that my engine is basically a 1200 without the front cyilinder.

I would use the rear and the front pipes so its set up just like a GP800 twin

unfortunately unless you can fine someone local that has some so you to do a test fit I think they only way to find out is to buy some 65U Triples and find out yourself

If only this were a few years ago when I was wiping my a$$ with money... Buying a set of 1200 triples for test fitting would have been easy!

Jason, how would it not fit? The 760, and the 1200 are identical, except for one less cylinder... That FPP setup your buddy has is looking more desirable all the time!

What I need to find is someone with a GP1200 without the exhaust mounted, and a measuring tape... Krispaintedballs? Where are you?

Hey scott call me, work from 3 to 11 pm cst. By the looks the rear pipe is part of a 65u fpp triple and the front looks like a pipe from the new gpr style triples.......dont quote me. But i am positive about the rear pipe.
Let me know what you need.
