    Crankworks

Got my crank back today. To clean up SBTs handywork they charged me $47. Thats right $47 to check for true and true if necessary. I can see the re welded the ends, and ground/polished the end rods. Im happy.

My sbt crank lost rear bearing so a rebuild is in order.
On another note it was a good crank it was spun at more than 7,500rpm a few times.
It was timed at 120 deg my MSD told me that.
I just bought 2 cranks so I may rebuild it and sell it or sell it like it is and let someone else get it rebuilt.
$300 is a good price for a rebuild.
Bought riva trued and welded crank and a new Yamaha crank.

I find it damn near impossible that they are doing a complete rebuild for $300.

They rip those things apart and spend some time with them. That figure might have been for one specific issue.

Even their front GPR bearing is well over $150 if not more...and it alone is worth the rebuild, since they use a better, wider front bearing.
