Maxflow Pump Nozzle...raider/gp/venture usage
I ordered Protec's maxflow this week to put on the gp760's 144 pump..
Along with the pending xo and newly installed aat ,this combo should give me some out of the hole improvements, before concentrating on the engine this winter... ( meaning i'll ride the wr in the florida sunshine).
Is there any thing ,other than blueprinting(cleaning up) the internal blade castings and matching nozzel veins to the hub veins, that I can do to make this better?
Any thoughts of those that have use this please chime in...thanks

Let me know how that mod goes... I have been looking at that part also. On top of that, I want to go with their +50mm steering nozzle.

I think that as itself, you may see an improvement in hole shot as this will enable you to prossess more water ..then with the aat, there should then be the improvement of top end.. as the 760 pump is smaller than the 1200, I hope with the xo's better cut over the o/e stainless, I will see a better overall improvement...
as a side note : I installed a bored nozzel onto the WR .. as I cant change the angle the wr runs too much more,(thou. I have been thinking about shifting the whole drive system down in back with shims and nosing the engine and intermediate up to compensate) I thought as my next step, try a bigger nozzel to push out more water...
Most of the porpise (sp) is now gone ..(IMT, it must be pushing more water out and letting the nose drop a tad more) I also add'd a screw-on cone extender to the pump.. she runs faster with more bottom end ..
it bumps the limiter consistantly now.
DOWNSIDE... It does use more fuel
(the motor is spooling up faster)...
Ok well... I'm in it as it wants to go..
(now for one more set of plate washers)

Wow. Manatees. A jet ski is the LAST thing that will cause damage to a manatee.
Anyway, I am eagerly awaiting results from this mod. do you have GPS speeds from before?

pull the entire pump tunnel setup and put a 155mm pump from a 97-99gp12 or waveventure or 1100 waveraider in it. You'll like the holeshot. Contact Cosca for more info.
